Alberta M. (Gebbardt) Eichinger of Walpole died in Caritas Norwood Hospital on June 12, 2007. She was 78. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Josephine (Whyte) Gebhardt. Mrs. Eichinger was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Roslindale High School with the Class of 1947. She was a resident of Walpole for over 48 years; she had moved to Texas briefly while her husband served in the United States Air Force. She loved her four children and their extended families; but she also loved camping, harness racing, NASCAR and the success of having bred a great-grand champion white persian feline named "Lucky." Mrs. Eichinger was the mother of Robert N. Eichinger of Brookfield, John Eichinger II of Plymouth, Richard A. Eichinger of Eaton, Ohio and the late Clifford J. Eichinger. She leaves six grandchildren. She was the sister of Rita McGurk of Hyde Park, Roy Gebhardt of Norwood, Marilyn MacDonald of Moultonboro, N.H., Joan Bingham
