Lived 65 years in Rockford, coming here from Louisiana. Married to the former Grace Tominellie in Rockford. Employed as a furniture finisher by various Rockford factories, before retiring. Veteran of World War I serving in the Army. Member of Thomas Lawler Post No. 342, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his widow, Grace; a son, Claude E., Jr., Rockford; a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Parrovechio, Rockford; a granddaughter, Jacqueline, Rockford; a brother, Joseph Ingrassia, Rockford; a sister, Mrs. Peter Gulatto, Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews.
