Aslee Batey McArdle of Lynn Jarvis Road, Kinsey, died early Saturday morning, October 17, 2009, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 79. She fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and God saw her tears and took her home. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, John Gerald McArdle. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Rev. James A. Rich officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will be at the home of a son, Austin McArdle, 306 Lynn Jarvis Road, Kinsey, AL.
