A prayer service for Christine J. "Bunny" Palumbo will be held Monday, September 10th at 11:00 am at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. Des Plaines Ave., North Riverside, followed by Mass celebrating her life at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, 97 Herrick Road, Riverside. She passed away peacefully on September 6, 2012. Survivors include four children, Christine M. Palumbo (Dr. Charles L. Derus), Annette Palumbo (Michael B. Ely), John C. (Teresa) Palumbo and Diane Palumbo (Christopher S.) Galo. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Caroline Derus (James) Cook, John (Cathy) Derus, Lisa Derus; Nick, Christopher, Molly and Kelly Ely; Mary and John Mark Palumbo; and Julianna, Anastasia and Angelina Galo. She was the wife of the late John P. Palumbo and the sister of the late Gloria Hinkle, late Arlene Vangelis, late Dorothy Rutshaw, late Gregory Vangelis, late Ann Marie Borowski and late Nicholas Vangelis. A resident of Riverside, IL for 55 years,
