Daniel F. Peck — Orangeburg Daniel F. Peck, 71, of 1333 Moss St., Orangeburg, died Friday morning, Aug. 8, 2003 at The Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2003 at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Fred Newcomer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Peck was born in Fort Worth, Texas, a son of the late Richard Peck and Beatrice Masters Peck Ebnet. He was retired vice president and general manager of Hughes Aircraft of South Carolina. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Peck was a member of the Rotary Club of Orangeburg, VFW Post 2779, and a former director of Junior Achievement, the United Way, and the South Carolina Defense Contractors Association. He was a former member of the Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College Foundation and former chairman of the South Carolina State College Engineering Advisory Committee.
