Irwin (Irv) Gustav Toler, 94, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home outside Soap Lake, Wash. He was born January 28, 1919, in Winchester, Wash., and moved to Whatcom County in 1926. He graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 1938, and attended his 74th class reunion there in Sept. 2012. He served in the Army in the South Pacific during WWII and lived in the Ephrata/Soap Lake area since 1946 where he farmed, worked, and hunted (his 3 favorite things but not in that order). He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cora (Hoff) and Ed Toler; his loving wife Wilma; son Lonnie; granddaughter Ambyr Jo Kellams; son-in-law Blair Barney; and half-brother Clarence Toler. He is survived by four daughters: Linda Barney of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Jeri (Paul) Hinen, Dalene Halley, and Marna (Scott) Kellams all of Soap Lake; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
