Hope Viola "Ely" Williams, 84, of Ironton, died June 30 at Arcadia Valley Hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1907 in Atchison, Kans., to the late George Washington and Selina Lettie Martin Ely. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Williams; one brother, Raymond; and two sisters: Ruth and Mable. She is survived by three sons: John H. Williams of Belleview, Paul B. Williams of Arcadia, Alonzo ( Lonnie) G. Williams of Bismarck; three daughters: Selina H. (Mrs. Franklin) Boatright of Bismarck, Ruth Ann Gunning, and Gayla M. Williams, both of Ironton; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington today after 6 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the First Christian Church of Flat River with the Rev. Rodger Kiepi officiating, assisted by Naval Chaplain Henry Wayne Boatright. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery at Bismarck. Memorials may be made to the Flat River First Christian Church.
