Mrs. Minnie Gibson, wife of Patrick J. Gibson of near Doe Run, died in Berkeley, Mo., Saturday, Nov. 7, 1964, at the age of 76 years. She was born in St. Francois County, Mo., on April 20, 1888, a daughter of the late Andrew Mayes and Amanda Geissler Mayes. She is survived by her husband and five children,: Mrs. Dora Boyd, Mrs. Ruth Starz and Patrick Gibson, all of the St. Louis area; Mrs. Annabelle Herzog of Weingarten Route 1, and Mrs. Florence Zimmerman of Doe Run; also 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Hodges of Potosi. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m., at the Pendleton Church in Doe Run, with burial in the Pendleton Cemetery. Miller Funeral Service.
