Patrick J. Gibson, formerly of Elvins, Route One, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 1966 at the home of his daughter at Berkeley. He was born on May 16, 1882 in St. Francois County the son of the late Thomas and Amelia Williams Gibson and was aged 83 years, ten months and 28 days. He is survived by four daughters: Dora (Mrs. Tillman) Boyd, St. Louis. Ruth (Mrs. Walter) Starz of Berkeley; Annabel (Mrs. Harold) Herzog, Route One, Weingarten; Florence (Mrs. Fred) Zimmerman of Doe Run; a son, Patrick F. Gibson, SL Louis; also 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pendleton Church., Doe Run, by the Rev, Leslie Reed assisted by the Rev J. W. Thomas. Interment was in the church cemetery with Miller Service in charge.
